 The EX CEL Pressure Reduction Gel/Foam Mattress Overlay is your first line of defense and response for the prevention and treatment of pressure sores:
- Gel mattress overlay protects skin integrity with 2" gel packs.
- Convoluted foam on top and bottom for maximum comfort.
- Waterproof nylon cover.
- Elastic straps on all four corners securely hold overlay on mattress.
- Flame retardant materials.
- Evenly distributed gel packs allow top and bottom (head to toe) to be exchanged.
- Dimensions: 78" length x 35" width x 3" height.
- Reimbursable in a SNF by Evercare and Senior Whole Health .
- Reimbursable for patients at home!
INSURANCE COVERAGE
Mattress Overlays are covered by OSI's acceptable insurances:
•Medicare Part B
•Blue Cross/Blue Shield
•Evercare
•Senior Whole Health
•Tufts
•HPHC
• Mattress overlays are covered 100% for residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility only by Evercare and Senior
Whole Health (not Medicare Part B).
• Mattress overlays are NOT covered by Medicare if a resident is at a Skilled Nursing Facility long
term; however, they are covered and can be provided within 48 hours of the resident being discharged home.
• Mattress overlays are covered 100% for patients who reside at home or in an assisted living facility by ALL
of Orthotic Solution, Inc.'s accepted insurances.
• Orthotic Solutions, Inc. is responsible for obtaining Physician orders and all necessary paperwork AND does all of the billing to insurance companies.
