SoftPro™ Static II Elbow

Ideal static setting positioning therapy for mild to moderate (< 90°) flexion contractures of the elbow. Easy to fit design with cuff closures on the bicep and volar side of the forearm. Soft, light, and comfortable, the SoftPro Static II Elbow is excellent for maintaining range of motion or providing progressive extension therapy.

• Static Therapy – Support, Protect and Position.
• Progressive Extension Stretch Therapy.
• Easily adjustable single setting hinge.
• Additional straps for more adjustable fit.

Orthotic therapy to facilitate maintenance or rehabilitation of the elbow in the treatment of joint stiffness or non-fixed adaptive tissue shortening contractures of the elbow joint. A single setting double upright static brace that may be used to maintain end range or to incrementally restore range of motion through progressive extension stretching with frequent brace modification. The brace hinges can be set with 5° to 10° of additional extension from comfortable passive end range to apply a gentle stretch on the shortened tissue. The strapping system allows the fitter to initiate the gentle progressive stretch of the elbow as the elbow cap is applied creating a gentle extension of the shortened tissue. By increasing wearing time to three to six hours per use, the Total End Range Time (TERT) of device wear allows the shortened tissue to lengthen over time. The hinges must be frequently modified to maintain a therapeutic stretch of the tissue as device wear continues.

The XBack LS [Lower Spine]

The XBack LS

The XBack LS (Lower Spine) is a one piece LSO brace that provides coverage and support from the sacrum through the L1 vertebrae. The unique, easy to put on and adjust strapping system makes this brace not only comfortable to wear but it won’t ride up while sitting or driving. The LS weighs only 16 ounces and will fit under most clothing.

The LS was designed by an orthopedic physician to provide relief from lower back pain and support for healing. The compression straps work with the split rigid anterior panels to provide a hydrostatic “lift” that helps take the weight of the abdomen off the lower spine which in turn helps to decompress the vertebrae thus providing a more consistent relief for low back pain.

Because the compression straps are anchored directly to the pre-shaped posterior panel, as you pull on the adjustable closure straps the posterior panel will further mold to the back providing rigid support while restricting motion and controlling pelvic tilt to aid healing of the back.

XBack Prolift-Plus

The brace is easy for individuals to put on and adjust and encourages compliance.
Single layer of soft moisture-wicking material makes the brace thinner, lighter, cooler and less bulky than conventional braces. A ProLift-Plus weighs only 26 oz.

Anatomically pre-shaped posterior panel with compression straps anchored directly to the panel. As the wearer pulls the compression straps, the pre-shaped panel will mold to the wearers back regardless of their degree of lordosis.

Center cutout [an XBack innovation] reduces direct pressure on the spine – ideal for a post-operative patient or those receiving injections.

The Prolift TLSO is a unique one piece TLSO brace

Prolift TLSO

The Prolift TLSO is a unique one piece TLSO brace that immobilizes the wearer from the sacrococcygeal junction to above the T9 vertebra. Prolift TLSO was designed to give physicians an alternative to a hard sternal pad pushing on the patient’s chest which is very uncomfortable, especially for older patients.

The shoulder straps gently pull the patient into extension without using a hard pad, which increases the comfort of the brace and increases the potential for patient compliance.

The Prolift TLSO’s unique split front panel helps center the brace on the wearer’s abdomen while providing hydrostatic lift to help hold the weight of the abdomen off the wearer’s spine thus helping to decompress the vertebrae.

Single layer of soft moisture-wicking material makes the brace thinner, lighter, cooler and less bulky than conventional braces. Prolift TLSO weighs only 30 ounces.

Anatomically pre-shaped posterior panel with compression straps anchored directly to the panel. As the wearer pulls the compression straps, the pre- shaped panel will mold to the wearers back regardless of their degree of lordosis.
